What type of beats do you offer?

Dj Byrd offers professional hiphop, R&B, and Pop beats. My goal is to give you the best quality instrumentals and make it easy and convenient for you to purchase beats.

Are beats removed from the website once purchased?

When the Exclusive Rights for a beat is sold, it will no longer be available for sale or download, but it will remain on the website and be listed as "SOLD." When the beat is purchased using the lease option, that beat remains on the website and can still be bought by others.

What if two different people buy the same beat?

If two different people buy the same beat, they can still each copyright their own song they make with that beat, and sell, distribute, perform and broadcast that song, keeping all their own royalties.

When you purchase a beat from dj byrd, the copyright for that beat alone still belongs to dj byrd. However, the copyright for the song that you make with that beat, your lyrics combined with that beat, belongs to you. And with the rights granted to you by the license agreement, you are allowed to sell, distribute, perform and broadcast (TV, radio, Internet) that song, keeping all of the royalties.

Why would I need exclusive rights?

The benefit of exclusive purchase is you own the 100% rights to the beat and no other artist may lease or purchase the beat. You may distribute unlimited copies of the song when exclusive is purchased. You can use the beat for anything except reselling the beat.

What are the differences between the MP3, WAV, and Tracked versions of the beat?

MP3 file: High Quality 320 Kbps.

WAV file: CD quality WAV audio file (16 bit, 44.1 kHz) of your instrumental.

Tracked Out: The downloadable studio quality WAV audio files (24 bit, 44.1 kHz) of your instrumental.

What are tracked out audio files?

A beat or instrumental will have multiple sounds/instruments that compose the beat. For example a normal beat may have: Bass, Percussion and Instruments. When a beat is purchased exclusively you will receive each instrument in its own individual wav file. This way you can add, remove or change the levels on individual sounds.

Do you use samples?

No. Dj byrd does not use any samples when making beats.

Can I Return The Beats I Purchased?

No, Djbyrd.com does not give returns. You are able to listen to the instrumentals before you buy them.

What do you do with my information?

Djbyrd.com never shares, rents, or sells your information. All payment information is held via PayPal (The #1 payment processor on the planet).

Will the voice tags be removed?

One voice tag will remain on the beat after a lease purchase. The tag is normally in the first 5-15 seconds of the song and will not repeat. Voice tags are not included on exclusive tracked out purchases.

Can I change up the beat after I buy it?

Yes, you can make changes to the beat as long as you still give full production credit to dj byrd.
